Inactive

Hey guys! I know I’ve been inactive, sorry for that. Me and my family have been very busy these last 4 months. I was finishing up school, church events, getting ready to go to the beach, then going to the beach. I should’ve made time to write but I didn’t and am writing now! I have updates: I am going to my church camp in six days! I got a phone in the past 2 months, and last but not least I am going to be fifteen in one month and twenty-two days! I’m super duper excited about that. Having … Continue reading Inactive

Change

We moved from our 13 year home to my mother’s childhood home, to where I, my brother, my sister, and my cousins used to roam in the woods. We played, we baked, cooked, cleaned, and had countless Christmases, random family gatherings, at this home in Hartselle, AL. This place is where my grandfather worked, where he fixed things that needed to be fixed, where he took care of my grandmother every day of their married life. Where my uncle remarried my mom and dad. Where my grandmother cooked, cleaned, decorated, where she also took care of my grandfather with food … Continue reading Change

DREAMS

My dreams are very big right now. As of now I want to be a forensic scientist. I want to follow my big dream, but to do that I have to set smaller goals. We all need to set smaller goals and we should all follow our big dreams. Those dreams are what make us go further in our lives, they are what keep us holding on. So don’t give up, keep on believing and hold on to that feeling. Continue reading DREAMS

Grid

This is the view I saw as the family dog, Theo, and I went to the neighbors playground. Every Saturday Theo and I usually go to the neighbors playground and I will swing and he will bring his tennis ball to me. There is a little wooden box where it gets stuck under little pieces of wood he goes insane looking for it and I laugh at him. On some weekends my friend Anna Kate comes over. At night she and I will go on the playground and get on top of the monkey bars or swing on the two person swing, we could stay on there all … Continue reading Grid

Monochromatic

Meet Theo the family dog. He is a pure bred Dalmatian. He is really my sister’s, and wherever she goes he goes. The story of how she and I got him goes like this. Her best friend, who is now her boyfriend, promised to get her a dog. She was looking at dogs and found these Dalmatians. She didn’t really want a Dalmatian but they were cheaper than what she really wanted. She and I went to Scottsboro thinking we would just look. We went to the back of this house, and we saw the mom, the dad, and his brother but didn’t see him. Then … Continue reading Monochromatic

Connection

Meet my best friend Anna Kate. I want to tell you how we met. It was the first day of school and none of my friends were in my P.E. she was sitting by herself anyways so I asked her if I could sit with her and she nodded, smiled and said sure. We sat together and hung out the whole period, then we hung out the next day, and the next day, then the whole week. We didn’t know it that day but we would become best friends. She means so much to me and I never want to lose her as … Continue reading Connection

Routines

I was thinking of what I should post, when it came to me. I thought, I have been in a routine for almost a month now and I kinda like it. I’m what you call a camel, I like things in order, I like things in list. So maybe you have read my other posts and maybe you haven’t. If you haven’t they are about how I do my school. This post is also about how I do my school you should know I love it, but what I do everyday may be the usual but not to me everyday … Continue reading Routines

The Best Day

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Today Was a Good Day.” That day I went to school, and it was one of those crazy days. We were coming back from an assembly when my best friend Faith said your sister texted you and I said okay what did she say and the text said “Do you and faith want to go to a carnival with me and Jamie?” and I said “well of course” faith was coming home with me that day and when we got home we had to already start getting ready cause we were also … Continue reading The Best Day

Online

Today I started my school, My school is different, it’s online. I take online classes; that’s very unusual for a 14-year-old girl. The typical teenage girl would go to public school, have a few best friends, and their goal is to be popular. Not me I went to my local elementary/middle school and was semi-popular I guess but I had to move schools, to Hartselle. I have heard some VERY drama filled stories from my cousin and from my friends who have friends there. I didn’t want to go but my mom was making me. I asked if I could be … Continue reading Online

The Tombstone

I was in the graveyard looking for something “creepy” to take a picture of so I was thinking okay this is near the light and I want to go home so I took the picture, got in the car and went home. I was looking at the tombstone more closely and this person had the same birthday as me. I was thinking oh that’s cool. Then I was looking at the year she died and this little girl was only five years old, and the words on her headstone are “A little rose bud.” What does that mean? I was thinking she … Continue reading The Tombstone
